Reconstruction of more than two miles of Highway 10 between Thurston Avenue and Ferry Street/Highway 47 in Anoka begins on March 28, 2022. The project is anticipated to take two years.

From the Minnesota Depart of Transportation on May 7, 2024: 

As final construction work continues this spring on Hwy 10 in Anoka, construction crews have scheduled two overnight closures tomorrow night.
Beginning at 10 p.m. tomorrow, May 8, West Main St. will close between the South Main St. roundabout and Fairoak Ave. During the closure, traffic will detour on Green Haven Pkwy. to Fairoak Ave.
At the same time, the ramp from eastbound Hwy 10 to Thurston Ave. will close and traffic will detour to the Main St. exit to Green Haven Pkwy. to Thurston Ave.
Both closures will be open by 5 a.m. Thu, May 9.
All final construction and restoration activity should be completed by early summer.
Thank you for your patience as we wrap up Hwy 10 Anoka construction.

As work wraps up in Anoka, the Hwy 10 Ramsey Gateway project is fully underway in the city of Ramsey. Visit Anoka County's project website to sign up for project updates and learn more about the project. 

MnDOT and the City of Anoka are working together to reconstruct and improve roads and bridges on Hwy 10 between Thurston Ave. and 7th Ave. through Anoka. When complete, the two-year Hwy 10 Anoka project will improve traffic flow, decrease traffic delays and increase safety. Construction is anticipated to be completed in spring 2024.
