Irving Berlin's White Christmas at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre
Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. "Dear Evan Hansen" at The Orpheum Theatre
Dear Evan Hansen is a coming-of-age musical about a high school senior named Evan Hansen who has severe social anxiety. Evan's therapist suggests he write letters to himself to help him build confidence, but one day one of the letters ends up in the hands of a classmate who commits suicide. Evan then finds himself at the center of a series of events that lead him on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. The musical explores themes of grief, mental health, and societal pressures, and has been described as "poignant, funny, and powerful".
The show received critical acclaim at the 71st Tony Awards it was nominated for nine awards, winning six including Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score, Best Actor and Best Featured Actress.
