Prepare to be whisked away by this original dance production adapted from Hans Christian Anderson's beloved nordic tale The Snow Queen.
The Snow Queen is a fantastical coming-of-age adventure that has inspired many, including the hit Disney movie Frozen and characters like the White Witch from the Chronicles of Narnia.
In this heart-warming tale of two young sisters, Kai's heart gets frozen by the evil Snow Queen. The younger sister (Gerda) sets out on a journey to rescue the older sister (Kai) and thaw her frozen heart. As Gerda ventures through the changing seasons, she encounters the vicious snowbees (The Snow Queen's army), an exceptionally sassy river, the Spring Witch, a pauper and his birds, the Summer Princess, the Autumn Leader of the Thieves, and a friendly reindeer named Siggy. Set to popular music, filled with action, romance, mystery, and triumph, there is something for everyone that is bound to leave you at the edge of your seat!
So, join us on this dangerous and whimsical quest as we dare to take on a story that gives good versus evil new meaning and has warmed the hearts of many over the years!
